Changelog

We ship improvements to Command Established every week. Here are the biggest updates for your department, newest first.

July 2026

  1. SOPs

    Quiz-based acknowledgments & change highlights

Publishers can now require a short comprehension quiz—with questions you can auto-draft from the document and edit—before a member signs off on an SOP or SOG. And when a policy changes, the acknowledgment page highlights the publisher's notes alongside a before-and-after comparison against the exact version that member last signed, so they can focus on what actually changed.

  2. Work Orders

Work Orders is now its own module

Work Orders graduated from a tab inside Inventory into a top-level module of its own—and a work order can now attach to almost anything: a truck, a station, a pre-plan, a hydrant, an SOP, or a fire-code inspection. It also gained a writable calendar (click a day to create, drag to reschedule), automatic 3-day and overdue reminders, multi-select bulk actions, quick actions on kanban cards, and the ability to reopen a completed order.

  3. Search

    Filter global search with facets

Global search gained filter chips across roughly seventeen record types—personnel, pre-plans, SOPs, elections, budgets, apparatus, applications, certifications, NERIS incident type, and more—so you can narrow from a keyword to exactly the records you're after.

  4. Notifications

Your department's brand on every email

Notification emails sent on behalf of a department now carry a "Sent for" header with the department's logo—or its name as a fallback—so members and the public can tell at a glance which department a message came from.

  5. Budgets

See what's left in every budget

Each budget category now shows an Available column—budgeted minus spent—that turns red when you're over, line items link straight to their filtered expenses, and receipts or invoices attached to expenses and revenues are finally viewable and downloadable.

  6. Pre-Plans

    Scheduled pre-plan reviews

Keep pre-plans current on a schedule: set review cadences with drift-free due dates, route reminders to the assignee, and track everything from two new dashboard widgets—a department-wide overview and your personal review queue.

  7. Incidents

    Search your entire incident archive

The incidents list now pages through every incident your department has ever recorded—not just the most recent thousand—with new filters for NERIS submission status and assignee, so older calls are findable again.

June 2026

  1. ePCR

    Richer EMS patient-care capture

The EMS patient record gained a lot this month: procedures performed via one-tap, category-grouped palettes; chief complaint and clinical narrative; patient demographics with driver's-license autofill; and coded NEMSIS provider impressions—with voice dictation available throughout.

  2. Recruiting & Forms

    Smarter recruiting & permit forms

The recruitment and permit form builders became far more capable: show a question only when an earlier answer matches, add phone, yes/no, signature, and encrypted-SSN field types, and import an existing application PDF that gets pre-filled into a form for you to review.

  3. Elections & Voting

    Run elections and motions in-app

Hold officer elections and vote on motions entirely in Command Established, with a full draft-to-certified lifecycle, single-choice or multi-seat races, a true secret ballot or a recorded roll-call, and quorum and tie safeguards before a result can be certified.

  4. Report Requests

Public records requests, end to end

Citizens can request copies of incident and fire reports through a public portal with email verification and a status page, while your staff work them from a review queue—or a drag-and-drop board—with incident matching, redaction, online or manual payments, and secure, audited delivery.

  5. Certifications

    Track member certifications

A new Certifications module under Training gives you a configurable catalog of certificate types, self-serve uploads from members with AI-assisted metadata parsing and a training-officer approval queue, a department-wide roster, bulk import, and a daily sweep that flags credentials before they expire.
