Install Command Established as an App

Command Established can be installed directly from your browser — no app store needed. Once installed, it launches in its own window, works offline-capable, and feels just like a native app.

iPhone & iPad (Safari)

On iOS and iPadOS, you must use Safari to install a web app. Other browsers like Chrome or Firefox on iOS do not support this feature.

  1. Open commandestablished.com in Safari and sign in to your account.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) in the toolbar.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Optionally edit the name, then tap Add.

Tip: On iPad, the Share button is at the top-right of the screen. On iPhone, it's at the bottom of the screen in the toolbar.

Android (Chrome)

Chrome on Android provides the smoothest install experience. Other Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Samsung Internet) also support installation.

  1. Open commandestablished.com in Chrome and sign in to your account.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Add to Home screen or Install app (wording varies by browser version).
  4. Tap Install in the confirmation dialog.

Tip: Chrome may also show an install banner at the bottom of the screen automatically. If you see it, just tap Install.

Windows (Chrome or Edge)

Both Chrome and Edge on Windows support installing web apps directly.

Mac (Chrome, Edge, or Safari)

On macOS, you can install from Chrome, Edge, or Safari (macOS Sonoma 14 and later).

Safari (macOS Sonoma 14+)

  1. Open commandestablished.com in Safari and sign in.
  2. From the menu bar, click File › Add to Dock.
  3. Optionally edit the name, then click Add.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as downloading from the App Store?

Command Established is not listed in the App Store or Google Play. Installing from your browser gives you the same experience — an app icon, full-screen window, and push notifications — without going through an app store.

Do I need to update the app manually?

No. The app updates automatically whenever you open it and are connected to the internet. You always have the latest version.

Will I lose data if I uninstall and reinstall?

No. All your data lives on our servers. Uninstalling the app only removes the shortcut and local cache from your device. Just sign back in after reinstalling.

I don't see an install option in my browser.

Make sure you are using a supported browser: Safari on iOS/iPadOS, Chrome or Edge on Android, Windows, Mac, or ChromeOS. Firefox desktop does not support installing web apps. If you still don't see it, try clearing your browser cache and reloading the page.

Does the installed app use more storage than the website?

Only marginally. The installed app caches a small amount of data locally for faster loading, but it uses far less storage than a typical native app.
