Keyboard shortcuts.
Hands on the keys, eyes on the job.

Command Established is built for fast data entry between calls. These shortcuts get you to any module, any record, and any save button without touching the mouse.

Mac or Windows? Shortcuts shown as ⌘/Ctrl use the Command key on a Mac and the Ctrl key on Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS.

Anywhere in the app

These work on every screen.

⌘/Ctrl+K
Search everything
Open global search — incidents, personnel, apparatus, hydrants, documents, and more. Press it again to close.
⌘/Ctrl+S
Save the form you're on
Saves the form you're editing — incidents, personnel, apparatus, trainings, permits, inspections, and more — without hunting for the Save button.
⌘/Ctrl+J
New work order
Something's broken? Log a work order from any screen, the moment you notice. On a record a work order can link to — an incident, inventory item, apparatus, station, hydrant, pre-plan, SOP, or inspection — the related item is prefilled with what you're looking at (you can still change it). Available when the inventory module is enabled.
⌘/Ctrl+B
Toggle the sidebar
Collapse the sidebar for more room, or bring it back. Your choice sticks between visits.

Shortcut help
Opens this page in a new tab, so the cheat sheet is never more than a keystroke away.

Go to any module

Press G, then a letter, to jump straight to a module — G then I opens Incidents from anywhere. Can't remember a letter? Press G and pause: a cheat sheet pops up listing every destination. Esc cancels.

GI Incidents GA Apparatus GR Personnel GS Stations GU Schedule GC Calendar GK Check-offs GT Training GE Events GV Inventory GW Work Orders GH Hydrants GP Pre-Plans GM Map GY Places GN Inspections GF Permits GQ Report Requests GB Budgets GO Policies & Procedures GL Log Books GZ CRR GJ Recruitment GX Elections GD Documents

Tip: Only modules your department has enabled — and that you have permission to view — appear as go-to destinations. With the sidebar collapsed, hover any module icon and its tooltip shows the chord.

Tab
Accept the suggested next hydrant number when adding hydrants — the form pre-fills the next one in your numbering scheme as ghost text.
